Our family’s history began more than 200 years ago in Europe, during the time of the Napoleonic Wars. Our ancestor lived in a region that today belongs to Luxembourg, although at that time the borders between Germany, Luxembourg and France were not clearly defined.
He served as an officer who fought alongside Napoleon Bonaparte. After the end of the wars, in 1828, he made a life-changing decision. Europe was facing difficult economic conditions, and with the uncertainty of shifting borders, he believed the future lay elsewhere. So he chose to leave everything behind and emigrate to South America.
After arriving in South America, he built a new life, started a family and laid the foundations for future generations. Over time, the family grew and several generations followed.
By the fourth generation, one of his great-great-grandsons began working specifically with wood, crafting a variety of wooden objects. From that moment on, a strong entrepreneurial culture began to take shape within the family, always connected to woodworking and furniture making.
Today, three descendants of that brave Luxembourger who left Europe so many years ago continue this legacy — working with some of the finest wood and creating products that reflect generations of tradition, knowledge and dedication.
